I ran into this problem RHES2.1 on the Dell 29xx series.
You will be supported moving to RHEL 3 or 4, I would suggest
RHEL 4 (currently on update 4) to maintain the HW/RHEL support as long
as possible.

We are looking at hardware upgrades and the new hardware is not
