Hi Michael, I knew we forgot to mention something in the release notes but just couldn't put my finger on it. Thanks for spotting this.
The omission of IronPython-2.0B4-Doc.zip which included Microsoft.Scripting.chm from IP 2.0B4 was actually intentional. Microsoft.Scripting.chm has been out of date for some time, but more importantly contains documentation specific to the DLR that's not particularly useful to IronPython users (e.g., "Microsoft.Scripting.Ast" namespace). This API reference library hasn't disappeared entirely though - in the near future there's going to be a site for all things DLR... ________________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael Foord [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, August 09, 2008 12:29 PM To: Discussion of IronPython Subject: [IronPython] IronPython 2.0B4 Docs Hello guys, Previous IronPython 2 releases have included a 'Docs' distribution which includes the 'Microsoft.Scripting.chm' document. This is missing from the 2.0B4 release.
