For the people who are interessted in today's presentation about the MMBase Component Framework. I've already uploaded a demonstration webapplication <http://www.mmbase.org/download/20071206mmbase19.zip> to the MMCF projectpage <http://www.mmbase.org/mmcf>.
In reaction to my own mail: someone requested me the slides of the presentation. I uploaded them to http://www.mmbase.org/mmcf
The slides are in Dutch for the greater part, but here is a translation: 1. Opening slide 2. Why the MMCF? MMBase is (to) flexibel No guidelines for applications Wich makes applications difficult to share There is no MMBase Framework 3. Demands to the MMCF For every 'kind' of MMBase Should work in MMBase distro, CMSContainer, Didactor Applications should be able to communicate with each other Applications should be easy to install 4. Of what does MMCF consist? org.mmbase.framework components (= applications) a new MMAdmin environment BasicFramework is test en reference: org.mmbase.framework.basic URLConverter’s for nice (SEO) links 5. MMCF applications Applications in MMCF are named Components, they consist of: configuration in ‘/config/components’ minimal one JSP optional: Java code optional: UrlConverter 6 - 9. no Dutch in these slides :-) 10.
