Hi, I am following the following these steps to install the openmpi 4.0.0:
> tar xf openmpi-2.0.2.tar > cd openmpi-2.0.2/ > ./configure --prefix=$HOME/opt/usr/local > make all > make install > $HOME/opt/usr/local/bin/mpirun --version mpirun (Open MPI) 2.0.2 But when I run: make all I get the following error: Making all in mpi/fortran/use-mpi-f08 FCLD libmpi_usempif08.la ld: library not found for -levent collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [libmpi_usempif08.la] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 So what should I do? Do I ignore it and go to the next step? Or is there any way for me to install the openmpi. Thank you!
