I found that 4.7.2 uses /usr/ccs/bin/as instead of /opt/csw/bin/gas as
4.7.1 does.
Is it intentional?
I had the problem similar to one described here:

/usr/ccs/bin/as failed with
"<stdin>", line XXXXX : Internal: Out of symbol table
error.
But this only happens when '-pipe' GCC switch is used.
Looks like Solaris as bug.
More precisely, this version should work on Solaris 10 U8 and up. If
this is not old enough, let me know.
Currently we're using Solaris 10 U5 on our build host.
