One would think so, but actually, no. Sun had a long tradition of making
a mess of any version numbering they use, and this one is no exception.

You really need it to explicitly list 1.22.5:

$ pvs /usr/lib/libc.so| grep 1.22.5
        SUNW_1.22.5;

If you don't have it, you need to patch or upgrade to a more recent Solaris.
