Some distributions do not create the simlink /usr/bin/kvm -> 
/usr/libexec/qemu-kvm

Then check for the kvm kernel  modules and finally check if RH default
firewall and SE Linux are there to create problems (remove RH firewall
rules and disable SE linux).
