Hi Michael, I'm experiencing the same symptoms as you.
Launching any VM through OpenNebula can't get past the bootloader. BUT, if I do a "ps x" to extract the call to the kvm executable and retype it from the command prompt, it works! I also disabled networking. Did you find the problem?
