Hi, For this kind of customization we provide Hooks [1].
I would create a VM hook on CREATE, with the $TEMPLATE argument. Your hook can be a small bash or ruby script, but any executable is fine. This script will need to check the uid/gid of the vm template, and call onevm shutdown --schedule now+24h. Let us know if you have any other specific question about hooks.
