I've been following docs & guides - one of the 1st, most basic
provisionings being for Ubuntu Desktop from live ISO.
I managed to get it up & do very simple PoC, but without basic 3D-HA for
compositing, it's a virtually unusable platform.
I expect it would be the same for many other distro's & platforms.
I've had a look into this issue a few years back (I believe the only
half-functional 'solution' was a port of some VMWare tools to Xen -
research project since abandoned), but I've not found anything for a
very long time.
This is one area - desktop virtualization - where I think KVM/libvirt
lags far behind other stacks.
Has anyone found any suitable solutions?
