You can do something like:
$avp(backup) = $rU;
If alias_db_lookup("dbaliases") {
xxxx
xxxx
} else {
avp_pushto("$rU","$avp(backup)");
}
Or whaever you need to do... just save the original uri and restore it
with the avp_pushto() function.
