Hi Jacek, First of all, many, many thanks for your help and support in debugging this issue. I have to say mysql really sucks when comes to re-connect :(... Following the logs from you I was able to reproduce the crash and to find the cause...and eventually a fix.
So, the fix is available on SVN - update and give it another try - it should work (at least for me it did).
