I just looked into this because i once had similar problems and this
caught my interest...
It seems like you have to change:
$this->serialize($prefix."['".preg_replace("/([\\\'])/", "\\\\1", $k)."']",
&$str);
to
$this->serialize($prefix."['".preg_replace("/([\\\'])/", "\\\\1",
$k)."']", $str);
in /var/www/CDRTool/phplib/session.inc
And also a few other instances in the session.inc.
