If you want to take a look at the master makefile for cross compiling opensips, you can find it here: http://svn.nslu2-linux.org/svnroot/optware/trunk/make/opensips.mk I ran opensips on arm without any issue, so it might be that your build is not sane. Generate a core file and use gdb to investigate.
