Bogdan,

Great, thanks for pointing out the cachedb module. Are there any chances to be used with registrant module? What about redis support? I have read in the module documentation that for now you only support mongodb. Any chance redis will also work?

Cheers,
DanB

Dan,

Typically, what I do, is to have a build machine and build my own packages (still using the standard code) - this give more flexibility versus using the packages from the repo.

About the "emulater" , I guess you refer to the db_cachedb module :

Give it a try :)

Hey Bogdan,

Thanks for so fast reply!

I plan installing this on production setups and would prefer to go with standard packages unless I am building some exotic library which requires manual maintenance later. I tend to think that it is easier to report bugs/issues later if I go with what most of the community go.

On the other hand I remember you have built an intermediary layer of database to be able to "emulate" old sql on top of new no-sql (eg: redis). I only want to use mysql because of the registrant module. Would it be possible to get registrant module to work with data out of redis in any way?

Thanks again!

Hi Dan,

Let me ping Rudy who is taking care of the debian repo for OpenSIPS - maybe he can bring some light into this.

I guess a local OpenSIPS compiling is not an option for you ?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anybody here using the latest 1.11 stable with debian wheezy, specifically to mysql databse. Trying to install opensips-mysql-module and it appears it depends on an old library (libmysqlclient 1.6). Wheezy ships with libmysqlclient18.

Thanks in advance for any tip.
