Hi, Ahmed!

The higher the number, the stabler it is :). So you should go with 2.2.8.
In terms of scripting, if you're using the same version (2.2 in this case), we are trying as hard as possible to prevent any semantics changes between minor versions (2.2.3 vs 2.2.8 in your case). So 99% the script should work without any touches. I would, however, run a few tests before putting it blindly in production, just to make sure you're not hitting a but that we haven't thought of.

Best regards,
Răzvan

Thanks Razvan.

First I would like to know few things;

1- which is the stable release for v2.2? As I see there are two versions available 2.2.7 & 2.2.8.
2- Is routing configuration for v2.2.3 works with v2.2.7 or v2.2.8?

As I was going through the release notes and the source codes for v2.4, v2.2.7 and v2.2.8. For now I may need to stick with v2.2 due to routing configuration in v2.4 as alot of changes need to be made (in term of routing script) and may need sometime for deployment and testing.

Please advise.

    Hi, Ahmed!

OpenSIPS 2.2 is quite an old version and is no longer supported for a
while. If you have the possibility, I'd suggest you to migrate to 2.4,
which is a stable LTS - if the issue occurs there, then we are able to
investigate it and track down the problem.
If you can't do that, you're best chance is to upgrade to the latest
    2.2
release, which is 2.2.7. If that still crashes, there's not that much
you can do, as 2.2 is out of support now, and you will need to migrate
    to 2.4 anyway.

    Best regards,
    Răzvan
