Yes It's obviously a typo. Probably I added the trailing space in the tarball when I was testing the CMake builds. Sorry. I removed it from the tarball. Redownload the package or just remove the space. Pietro

Different sets of data extracted from benchmark and test. Data only in benchmark: band, ehl1, eh1, n1, e1, level. So I think the problem is the space between /home/giacomo/numerical-methods/modulo7/qe-7.4.1/test-suite/../ (which is ESPRESSO_BUILD env var in ENVIRONMENT) and /bin/pw.x.
