Yes
It's obviously a typo. Probably I added the trailing space in the tarball when
I was testing the CMake builds.
Sorry.
I removed it from the tarball.
Redownload the package or just remove the space.

Hi,

I'm a new user of QE. I installed pw and I wanted to check if everything
was alright but all pw test fail. I looked for the *.out.* and *.err.*
files and I found out that the output files are empty and the err ones
have this:

/home/giacomo/numerical-methods/modulo7/qe-7.4.1/test-suite/../test-suite/run-pw.sh:
line 56: /home/giacomo/numerical-methods/modulo7/qe-7.4.1/test-suite/..:
Is a directory

I tried uncommenting echo in line 56 of run-pw.sh:

  echo "${PARA_PREFIX} ${ESPRESSO_BUILD}/bin/pw.x ${PARA_SUFFIX} -input
$1 > $2 2> $3"

Now when I run the tests:

/home/giacomo/numerical-methods/modulo7/qe-7.4.1/test-suite/../
/bin/pw.x -input atom.in > test.out.200425-4.inp=atom.in 2>
test.err.200425-4.inp=atom.in
pw_atom - atom.in: **FAILED**.
Different sets of data extracted from benchmark and test.
Data only in benchmark: band, ehl1, eh1, n1, e1, level.

So I think the problem is the space between
/home/giacomo/numerical-methods/modulo7/qe-7.4.1/test-suite/../ (which
is ESPRESSO_BUILD env var in ENVIRONMENT) and /bin/pw.x.

Why there is such space which cause the "Is a directory" error?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Best regards,

Giacomo De Santis
