Dear QE Users and Developers,
I am encountering some confusion regarding parameter selection while using
Quantum ESPRESSO to calculate the superconducting transition temperature (Tc).
According to the official documentation, the default/recommended value for the
parameter el_ph_sigma is 0.02 Ry. However, when reviewing relevant
literature, I noticed significant discrepancies in the values chosen by
different researchers??for instance, 0.005 Ry or 0.05 Ry, among
others. Could you please advise on how to appropriately select the value
of el_ph_sigma in practical calculations, particularly for
predicting Tc?
