In an nscf run, the mesh of k-points is symmetrised so that the k-point set has the same symmetry as the lattice. Apart from the number of k-points increasing, this is usually a good, necessary feature. You can avoid it either by setting nosym=.true., or using calculation='bands' instead of nscf. Dear, I do the nscf calculation with the uniform k mesh. The k points is generated via kmesh.pl and the command is 'kmesh.pl 5 5 3'. And then the generated 75 k points is used to do nscf calculation. However, the number of k points in the output file is 99, which is different with that in input file. How can I avoid this condition? ________________________________
