So really, all you are actually after is something with a [VGA|DVI|HDMI] 
out, ethernet and a couple of USB ports for the mouse and keyboard? The 
options aren't exactly limited.

Look at the Solidrun CuBox. 800MHz ARMv7 (Marvell Armada), 1GB of RAM, 
HDMI out, SATA, USB, uSD. And they are pretty good value at ?99, too. 
And it's _tiny_. As in, losably tiny. If you use it as a server and it 
falls down the back of the rack, you might never find it again tiny.

It's not a speed demon at 800MHz, but for a small server or an office 
desktop, you don't need it to be.
