That sounds like what I need, but I couldn't get that syntax to work. It excluded all subversion packages from the rpmforge repo. I tried it in /etc/yum.conf and /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmforge.conf. I've looked through the man pages and haven't found anything that mentions excluding a package based on its version number. If anyone has any working examples (on CentOS 6), I'd love to see them.
