With the rebuild instructions modified as described in my previous posting, the manual rebuild succeeded and the resulting package appears to work fine. So from my POV there's no need to hold up the repo rebuild any further.
A minor nit, the name of the rebuilt package appears to lack the ".rf" suffix. Thus spake "yum install": ---> Package milter-greylist.x86_64 0:4.2.7-1.el6.rf will be updated ---> Package milter-greylist.x86_64 0:4.2.7-2.el6 will be an update I assume that's another problem of the rebuild instructions, and the RepoForge rebuild mechanism will take care of that.
