I wasn't able to understand the background of this thread entirely and the context between a User-Agent header and aborted sessions somewhat escapes me, but: As I'm using IE8 and am suffering from a number of similar problems (see thread "Aborted sessions, lost server connections: browser issues...? (0.7.2)"), may this issue be the cause (or one of the causes) of my problems as well? If so, can I do/try anything on my own part (and what)?
