Sounds confusing option. What if u want to see stuff in other folders
for example. What if a new mail arrives while a folder is hidden ?

Then it should become unhidden . . ?

I have had a request for an enhancement on the books for a couple
of
years but it hasn't gotten anywhere (ie an option to display only
folders that have unread mail in them [like ThunderBird]

Eh?

I would *love* to have an option for that... but I have no
knowledge
that this is a feature in Thunderbird, and I've been using it since
about version 0.8...

So, I would *love* it if you would elaborate...

Is this via an extension?

Well I haven't been using TB since I switched to RC B some years ago!

but it was definitely possible and it was a nice option - if you
really
can't get it going, I will re-install TB and check it out (I can't
imagine it has been removed in the meantime?).

Regards,

Phil.
