format=flowed
Hello roundcube Users,
I just realized that I am sending out HTML emails with an incorrect
Content-Type in the header. All my emails are sent out with:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII;
format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
The emails do contain multipart messages, but they are displayed
incorrectly because the multipart boundary is not defined in the header.
I have tried multiple things, switching back between plain text and
multi part, inserting graphics, editing text attributes etc. But I have
never been able to get a properly formatted HTML message to be sent.
Messages are stored that way in my Sent folder, so it's nothing that was
corrupted on the way.
I am using Roundcube 1.4.6 currently. Looking in my old sent mails, I do
find correctly formatted messages with Roundcube 1.4.4 which show:
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="=_bc9e46fcb104daa5e5c4f3de953a0251"
--=_bc9e46fcb104daa5e5c4f3de953a0251
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII;
format=flowed
I tried to look at the differences in the source code between 1.4.4 and
1.4.6 but could not find anything obvious that would cause this new
behavior. I am not aware of any other settings that I changed, not that
I could remember.
Do you have any clues how I could try to debug this behavior further?
Thanks for your support,
Christian
