Hello,
Can you give a bit more information?
* did you use --nodeps to install the package?
* are all the files (especially /var/www/apcupsd/multimon.cgi)
unchanged according to rpmverify?
* the file multimon.cgi is owned by the package?
I've tested this on my pc and ldd doesn't report those
dependencies:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rpmbuild]$ ldd /var/www/apcupsd/multimon.cgi
linux-gate.so.1 => (0xffffe000)
libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 (0xf7edd000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0xf7eb6000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0xf7eaa000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0xf7d6d000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xf7fe3000)
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rpmbuild]$ rpm -qf /var/www/apcupsd/multimon.cgi
apcupsd-3.14.3-1.el5.rf
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rpmbuild]$ rpm -qi apcupsd

Summary : APC UPS power control daemon
Description :
Apcupsd can be used for controlling most APC UPSes. During a power failure,
apcupsd will inform the users about the power failure and that a shutdown
may occur. If power is not restored, a system shutdown will follow when the
battery is exausted, a timeout (seconds) expires, or the battery runtime
expires based on internal APC calculations determined by power consumption
rates. If the power is restored before one of the above shutdown conditions
is met, apcupsd will inform users about this fact.
Some features depend on what UPS model you have (simple or smart).
[EMAIL PROTECTED] rpmbuild]$ rpmverify apcupsd
..?..... /sbin/apctest
..?..... /sbin/apcupsd
kind regards,
Dries
