Dear Márton, I am using these functions to identify the points A and B that minimizes (or sometimes maximizes) this problem. Hence, I thought the optim could be the best solution to do this, since I must explore the search space. However, as said previously, using the intervals [0 1000] and [1 2000] I always get the same results. Please, do you have any suggestions to help me?
