I recall there is a problem with the error messages of this function, which is misleading. When I experienced a similar error in the past, I could solve it changing the initial guess (i.e., a preliminary set of parameters of the candidate non-linear function to fit). Another more automatic way in the absence of a more heuristic wat is trying to solve the same problem with a net of different combinations of guesses with some way to ignore errors (investigate the error function) Regards, Federico Miyara On 4/10/2025 14:28, Samuel Enibe wrote: I tried to solve a nonlinear regression problem with the datafit function.
