You are right. After, I modified the maven.bat file to make sure the NetComponents.jar is included in the classpath (I had assumed that if I placed the jar file in the maven_home/lib dir, it would automatically be included in the classpath) it started working. However, I am still confused as to why it did not work when I added as a dependency in the site plugin.
