At least there is a proposal in http://jira.codehaus.org/ViewIssue.jspa?key=MPECLIPSE-20 But since noone was ever interested in all those issues (a lot of valuable patches for this plugin) from the last months http://jira.codehaus.org/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&sorter/order=DESC&sorter/field=priority&resolutionIds=-1&pid=10352&component=-1 I doubt that anything happens anyway.
