Hello all, I have been doing some research to determine if it is possible to load a set of properties from a normal java properties file. The impression I am getting it that it might be but only through a relatively obscure plugin (http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.sonatype.plugins/maven-properties -plugin/0.0.2).
The thing that really puzzles me is that I am led to believe this use to be quite straightforward through the use of a build.properties file but that functionality was lost in Maven 1. Can anyone tell me why this functionality was removed or, better yet, if there is a flag to turn it back on?
