>From my experience with the archetype plugin, it appears to ignore your company proxies and mirrors and always and only goes to repo1 unless you tell it otherwise using -DarchetypeCatalog=http://your.company.repo/.... or -DarchetypeCatalog=local
I don't have a proxy, but I do have everything redirecting via a mirror to our Nexus repository and I still have to do the above to get it to find my archetypes.
