Aether is produced by Sonatype so I would report the issue in their bug tracker: https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/AETHER But that page says Aether is now under Eclipse Foundation, and to use their Bugzilla: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?query_format=specific&order=relevance+desc&bug_status=__open__&product=Aether So, I guess that is where to go next...
