Hi Support for a report based on issues at GitHub was added in the latest version. There is no support for announcements yet. It should be relatively easy to do though, now that the code to fetch issues from the GitHub issue tracker is in place.
Patches are welcome. Have a look in AnnouncementMojo how it has been implemented for JIRA and Trac.
