- "Check out Maven Projects from SCM" and "Materialize Maven Projects from
SCM"
both required svn-m2e connectors which are rarely installed by default and
which I never rembember how they can be installed. They may installed by
default in the STS version, but I'm  not sure.
Personnaly I checkout the project using command line and then import it
using "import existing Maven projects". You can probably import it from
eclipse, (using the repository browser?) then delete it from workspace
(*not* from disk) and reimport it as a maven project.
