The file with the name pom.xml which is informally called super pom is part of your Maven installation.
If you have more questions about basic Maven stuff you should ask some colleagues or use a search engine. For example using Google and typing 'maven super pom‘ the auto-completion even suggested 'maven super pom location'. To get a better knowledge of Maven again use a search engine in case of specific questions. To get a basic understanding get the manual, I think a few years ago it has been necessary to register at sonatype for that.
