the good needs is that I found no regressions (testing several large builds at eclipse.org using Maven + Tycho). The bad news is that the child.inherit.append.path attribute introduced with MNG-5951 is not flexible enough for fairy common use cases like projects on Github. I opened bug MNG-6059 [1] for this.
