The main problem is that the test and ishield jar files get put into our final distribution. Our certification people need explanations for each jar we deploy. They get cranky when I tell them "it's just a test jar, don't worry about it."
I believe the correct solution is to mark the dependencies with a "runtime" property. Then in our custom distribution plugin only included those in the final package. Thanks, C.
