Awesome!

I'll definitely take a look as one of things I will be focusing on will
be the visual tools for Maven. Plugins for IDEA and Eclipse are two of
the biggies!

We could definitely work together because I started hacking one together
for maven2. I am not very adept at working with the IDEA API but I do
know maven2 fairly well :-)

If you can pop into IRC and we can chat. We should probably also sync up
with the Mevenide guys because ideally these IDE offerings can be made a
part of Mevenide. That said it may be time to try and bring Mevenide
itself under the Apache umbrella.

Having high quality IDE plugins would be fabulous but they could also
play an incredibly important role in helping users move from maven1 to
maven2 by providing some insulation from the the bare metal making the
transition easier.

Our achievements speak for themselves. What we have to keep track
of are our failures, discouragements and doubts. We tend to forget
the past difficulties, the many false starts, and the painful
groping. We see our past achievements as the end result of a
clean forward thrust, and our present difficulties as
signs of decline and decay.
