Hi All
I'm trying to install maven2 on Windows XP.
1)JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_03
2) Path=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_03\bin;C:\Program Files\Apache Software
Foundation\maven-2.0-alpha-3\bin;%PATH%
When I tried
m2 --version
Got the error as mention below, What could be the reason ?
Usage: java [-options] class [args...]
(to execute a class)
or java [-options] -jar jarfile [args...]
(to execute a jar file)
where options include:
-client to select the "client" VM
-server to select the "server" VM
-hotspot is a synonym for the "client" VM [deprecated]
The default VM is client.

set a system property

include/exclude user private JREs in the version search

-X print help on non-standard options

enable assertions
-da[:<packagename>...|:<classname>]

disable assertions

enable system assertions

load native agent library <libname>, e.g. -agentlib:hprof
