Was this publicized anywhere? I don't remember reading about it (but my memory isn't so good). Seems like the plugin itself should have been removed as well; as the situation currently stands, upgrading the FindBugs plugin puts maven in an un-usable state. Still curious to know whether or not anyone has notified the FindBugs plugin development team. Could it be that they don't follow the list and are not aware of the situation? -- Jamie Bisotti
