Hi,

I have a module that only has a pom.xml in it. It should serve as a
parent project for my other projects. I have set the packinging to
pom,however, a jar file is created.

How can I avoid this, but still have  a parent pom that sets all the
default compiler options, reports, that I want for my java modules?
