I have also tried to use maven-proxy, and itself is fine UNTIL I start or use an older project that requires a jar from [central] and maven-proxy does not have it so tries to connect to ibiblio and it blacklists....
I would also like to know *how* to mirror central. Standard rsync does not seem to work, and looking in the maven-meeper codehaus has to log in through SSH to get access.
