Hi, I would like to hear what the "best practice" is surrounding the
check out, build, and deploy process for a Maven 2 project. I currently
have a "pom" type parent pom.xml which defines the modules to be built,
and all the modules refer to this parent. However, I also have another
pom.xml whose function is to check out the source code. Thus, my first
question is should I combine these two poms into one? My second
question is should I do an exec of Maven through the exec plugin to
start the multiproject build, or is a more standardized flow for doing
check out, build, and deploy? Thanks.
