Yes, set the manifestFile parameter in the plugin directly.

<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-ear-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
  <generateApplicationXml>true</generateApplicationXml>
  <defaultJavaBundleDir>APP-INF/lib</defaultJavaBundleDir>
  <manifestFile>${basedir}/MANIFEST.MF</manifestFile>
</configuration>

Hi All

How do i disable maven auto generated information in manifest file

for Eg.

I have in my ear plugin as

                         <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
                         <artifactId>maven-ear-plugin</artifactId>
                                <configuration>
 <generateApplicationXml>true</generateApplicationXml>
 <defaultJavaBundleDir>APP-INF/lib</defaultJavaBundleDir>
                                        <archive>
 <manifestFile>${basedir}/MANIFEST.MF</manifestFile>
                                         </archive>
                                </configuration>

When i create my ear file using this it does take my custom manifestFile
from ${basedir}/MANIFEST.MF but before adding this it also adds maven
default information like

Manifest-Version: 1.0
Archiver-Version: Plexus Archiver
Created-By: Harmony-Automation Project Using Maven
Built-By: blah
Build-Jdk: blah
Extension-Name: blah
Specification-Title:blahblahblahblahblah
Specification-Vendor: blah
Implementation-Vendor: blah
Implementation-Title: blah
Implementation-Version: 12

i don't want this information, i just want manifest to have whatver i
specified in my manifestFile, coz i already have these in my manifestFile,

is this possible ?

Thanks,
Raghurajan Gurunathan
