IMO the plugin is quite fast w/o -DdownloadSources=true
If you don't specify this option the plugin will also look into the
local respository for the sources.

2007/3/7, Binil Thomas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Hi all,

My project depends on lots of libraries, for most of which source & javadoc
bundles are not available. When I run:
mvn -DdownloadSources=true eclipse:eclipse
it takes real long to create the eclipse project file.

Is there a way to speed up this process? The options I can think of are
providing a lower timeout value for the download, force the build pick only
sources & javadocs from local repository etc.

Has anyone developed any workarounds for this?

Thanks,
Binil
