Heap overflow in deploy:deploy-file

Hi I am trying to upload an artifact to Maven repository with
deploy:deploy-file. I am getting a java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
. The file is about 42mb in size. I am using Maven 2.07. Has anyone else
come across this problem.
