Gmail users (and other bottom feeders) like me mostly top post. But if I have something specific to address and it doesn't make sense to make a general reply, I'll go in-line. Many other people go in-line or even bottom post (gasp).
There's no specific rules, at least, I've been here a while and I've never seen any posted. So, do what you prefer, and I'm sure we can sort it out.
