So after getting past this I ran into some more errors and realized that I'm a little confused as to how maven+surefire+testng works with jboss embedded. All of the example projects I have seen make no mention of a tomcat installation, nor do they reference a tomcat/jboss deploy directory in the configuration of the surfire plugin.
I also have noticed that all of the projects only have the "jboss-embedded" files in the ejb module, not the ear module, where you can integration test everything. Suppose I had a client of an EJB in my war and wanted to test that? Any direction on this is very much appreciated.
