Mmmm, that looks to be using standard git repositories, not git-svn ( local git but remote subversion ).
http://utsl.gen.nz/talks/git-svn/intro.html I suspect I won't be able to use maven-release with a git-svn based repository as the pom.xml files would refer to an svn repository, but the checkout is git.
